On June 6th Garrett McNamara to Teach Surfing to Autistic Children at “Surfers Healing” Day Camp in Malibu
Monday, June 1st, 2009Always ready to help those in need, on June 6th Garrett McNamara will donate his time as a surf instructor for Surfers Healing: A Foundation for Autism. The day camp will provide autistic children the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn all aspects of surfing from professional riders.

Garrett McNamara to participate at Covenant House California 2009 Awards Fundraiser
Monday, June 1st, 2009On June 5th, Garrett will help the Los Angeles chapter of the Covenant House honor those who have given their time and made donations to help provide services to the homeless. Among those being honored at the 10th Annual Awards Gala is Nigel Lythgoe, co-producer of “So You Think You Can Dance,” “American Idol” and longtime advocate for the homeless.
